Payment
DreamingAmelia.com accepts PayPal and most major credit cards.
Order Processing
All the clothing at DreamingAmelia.com is handmade in small batches and is a mix of ready-to-ship and made-to-order garments. Please refer to individual listings for processing times. Items that are ready-to-ship will be shipped within 2 business days of receipt of the order. Items that are made-to-order require one week to complete prior to shipment. A mixed order that contains both ready-to-ship and made-to-order items will ship together when the final piece is completed. If there is any issue with your order, you will be contacted by email. If you have any questions about the status of your order, please email dance@dreamingamelia.com.
Shipping Rates and Policies
US orders: Orders ship free within the United States. Items are shipped via USPS first class mail and include tracking and delivery confirmation. This is typically a 2-5 business day service. Shipping time is not guaranteed and may be slower during periods of heavy mail volume such as the holidays. If you would like to upgrade to expedited shipping, guaranteed delivery by a specific date or prefer a different carrier, please email dance@dreamingamelia.com prior to purchase.
International orders: DreamingAmelia.com ships to most countries. Orders to Canada ship for a flat rate of $10. Orders to all other international destinations ship for a flat rate of $17. Items are shipped via USPS First Class International Mail (default for flat rate shipping) or USPS priority mail (6-10 business days average) if an upgrade is selected at checkout. In some instances, shipping times may be longer than expected due to customs processing times. If you would like expedited shipping, guaranteed delivery by a specific date or prefer a different carrier, please email dance@dreamingamelia.com prior to purchase. Import duties, taxes, and other customs charges are not included in the shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to buying.
Returns
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are unhappy with your item, you may return it for a refund of the purchase price. Shipping charges are non-refundable. Our return policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your item was received, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it with all tags attached. It must also be in the original packaging. To return your item, please send an email to dance@dreamingamelia.com notifying us of your intent to return within 14 days of receipt of the item. You will be responsible for paying the shipping costs for returning your item. Once your return is received and inspected, if approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 7 days.
Exchanges
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you would like to exchange your item, send an email to dance@dreamingamelia.com specifying details of the exchange you would like to make. We will respond within two business days to let you know whether the exchange can be made and provide instructions for doing so. To be eligible for an exchange, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it with all tags attached. It must also be in the original packaging. Exchanges may be made within 30 days of the purchase date. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. You will be responsible for paying the shipping costs for returning your item, however the replacement item will be sent to you without any additional shipping charges (US destinations, only). Any subsequent exchanges will be subject to appropriate shipping charges. No returns/refunds can be issued once an exchange is made. Exchanges made on items sent outside the US may require applicable shipping charges.
Duties/Taxes/Customs Fees
Taxes, import duties, and other customs charges are not included in the shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs department to determine what these additional costs will be prior to buying. Items returned after the 30 day return period will be charged a 20% restocking fee as well as any additional charges incurred to retrieve the package. Shipping charges are non-refundable. If more than three months have passed since the purchase date, no refund will be issued.
